Katie Volynets is so incredibly likable, so appealing!!! I felt for Mirra when I saw her in tears but I still feel ecstatic for Katie!

Quite charming with an interesting accent. Enjoy listening to her.

I think we all concur with your sentiments. I know she speaks Russian fluently but obviously was born in the states or has lived in the states since a very young age. I think this blend gives her that very unique and pleasant accent, and cadence in her speech.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed the accent. Her grammar is also a little off. I moved to the US at 5 but I was born in a country where English was taught from a young age. It is a little different to see a young American who was raised in Walnut Creek, California from a young age having a unique accent and struggling with grammar and vocabulary

@@Peace2humankindthat’s pretty strange though. Almost everyone who moved to the US at a very young age and was essentially raised there from early on in grade school all the way to being an adult never have a hint of an accent. It’s definitely something I’ve never seen before.

@@andreyofdoom it’s not mine either but I have no hint of an accent from my first language. Just because English isn’t your first language doesn’t mean you speak it with an accent if you’re raised in the US from a very young age.
