The cliff-jumping on Vormir thing was a gag about “Avengers Infinity War” and “Avengers Endgame”, as characters had to sacrifice someone they loved by throwing them off a cliff on the planet Vormir, which is how they’d get the Soul Stone. Also, Loki being a Frost Giant was a callback to the Season 1 episode this is a sequel to (the one with Party Thor). In that, Loki was never adopted by Odin and so he grew-up (literally) with his Frost Giant father, Laufey (originally seen in the first Thor movie). So, that’s why he’s blue and really huge.

"How does a duck and a human even go about...?" The question Leah Thompson never wanted to answer.

If you told me going in that this would be my favorite episode the season, I wouldn’t have believed you.

@@katieoshaughnessy8086 The lore for Howard is that he looks like a duck, but he’s from another dimension, he’s basically an alien mutation. Yet everyone assumes he’s a normal duck, and assumes it’s Beastality. Everyone assumes all that because they have no brains because their brains are soft like butter. This pairing is what people have a huge problem with, but when people romance tali from the Mass Effect series or Garrus, no one bats an eye. Even though garrus gives off some bird like alien features. Yeah ok, people. Double standards much? Am I right, Katie?
