alternatively, to get them to crisp up, you can mix in some olive/vegetable oil in with the breadcrumbs. just like a tablespoon will do-- did this the other night and they turned out crispy and golden and delicious. plus it saves you oil. also these really do smell amazing. when i made them, i made a batch of 42 to save in the freezer for easy meals. ended up eating like 9 or 10. (to be fair, six of those went to my mother)

Great Video. I do them like this for my kids. But I'm lazy I have the flour and the Panko in little bags. This way I can work with more nuggets at the time and to clean up I just but the bags in the garbagebag. so almost no dishes and the fingers stay clean. thanks for sharing.

This recipe is fool proof, drunk me put it into uneven pieces and like a third of the crumbs didn’t stick, but it was still amazing and juicy. Use a baking sheet so you don’t have to clean the tray.

I never use flour or oil for mine, just season it up dip it egg wash, coat it in bread crumbs and throw it in the oven for 40 minutes. Tastes great.

I use chicken tigh . Boil it first with skin off, instead of oil I use spray the one calorie one or just no oil just use parchment paper. Instead of bread crumbs I use the dry bread ( fete biscotatte brown) ryvita brown or brown toast . I use the ingredients that I am supposed to eat that day in my diet

I just made me a plate of them chicken nuggets. I used crushed unflavoured cornflakes instead of bread crumbs, very nice and very crunshy. Some words of advise: DO NOT be too generous with the salt, mine were quite salty.

I'm trying to change my families eating habits so I'm looking for recipes (so we don't have to go and buy food all the time) and this is one worth saving. I did change somethings like 301g boneless chicken thigh and added 1/2 tsp onion powder and celery salt and a dash of salt and black pepper sparingly and just used a store brand bread crumbs. Unless if you have a combination microwave oven, the cooking style of a conventional microwave isn't good enough to cook the chicken and get a gorgeous crispy crumb at the same time. I would recommend oven cooking!

Be sure to reheat in the oven and you’ll get the crispiness back! It also works if you freeze them after coating, and then you can cook them from frozen.

It won't be 'healthy' but you can certainly fry these, too - I would recommend making your chicken chunks a little smaller and just a shallow fry and flip them over should do the trick!

Hmmm.... maybe turn the temperature up on the oven, or stick them under the grill for another final few minutes? I'll have a play with the recipe and see where it's playing up!
