Working yearlings in the round pen for the first time!
Weezy and Waylon are my 2 yearlings that are in need of some ground work! I slowly start my yearlings with ground training to make their transition into being broke to ride that much easier!

All stallions should be taught to behave around mares, always, as well as other stallions. They should be taught to be bomb proof. Anything else needs to be gelded. I cant tell you how irritated I get at these videos they post of these crazy Arab Stallions going crazy and rushing people and lunging and other horses- and they seem to think that is a valuable trait, somehow. I want rock solid horses.

As Wheezy is a mix of Thoroughbred and Quarter horse what would she be better suited for as far as becoming a show horse? A jumper? Curious thanks

Honestly I'd say when you say you use the whip, instead say We just use it to touch. Cuz anytime someone says we use the whip doesn't matter how you're using it specifically it's just the fact that you're saying that you use it without saying I use it so the assumption is you're actually like whipping and using pain as a teacher. Might prevent confusion to just say we use it to touch.

Waylon keeps trying to turn around because the camera man is giving him the body language by being in front of you to turn around. The camera man should be behind you closer to the haunches of him. He is a great listener and good boy.

I had the same thing with mine and my vet recommended a calcium supplement. Of course I can’t remember the name of it now it’s coming in Feed stores. It starts with CAL or H a silver label just to support them through those growth spurts I wouldn’t change her feet.
