No decorating yet, but I did scoop up a few of last plaid pillows from the Target Dollar Spot after seeing them in (one of) your last vids. I fell in love with them and they are going to look great on my Adirondack chairs after I get them waterproofed.

Katie, take a roll of rubber shelf liner and put it under all the feet of your sofa, and that will majorly help it from breaking apart! Not all the way through the video yet, but had to stop and mention that for you! Hope it helps!

Don’t be afraid to decorate with larger items and less small items. Having too many small items can make a space feel cluttered. Thanks for the video.

I just knocked a plant I had on my window sill over. So I did vacuum up all the mess I made. I had dirt all over. And it cleaned it up very well. I love all the pillows you have on your sofa. My husband would be so mad. I only have two pillows, and he moves them around. I’m not sure if I even have any fall decor. But I will soon. I need to change up some of our decor in my house. I do have a fall color quilt in my bedroom. And I love it. I have the same lamp I bought from Target. It’s in my dining room. I’m not sure if I’ve ever turned it on. It’s in the corner.

I can't do fall until September because I leave it up till Thanksgiving. I love my fall decor, but August is the hottest part of summer where I am. I don't necessarily decorate the same each time. Some items just fit in certain areas, but I change up the smaller items. I love the table runner. Everything is so cute. God bless ❤

Loved watching your decorating. You are getting more confident with your aesthetic and it is fun to watch. I also loved that you “kept it real.” A home (especially with a baby) is never pristine, and that is ok. Regarding the vases on your coffee table, I like the vase you decided on…the white. I think it just harmonizes with the rest of the tray.

Over on Garrett Le Chic's channel, he said he uses Zip-Ties to the legs to hold sectionals together. The units leg frame hides the ties, try using light for light/dark for dark ties.

Me too! I always add a few new items, this year I’m adding in deep purple to match some dishes I’ll be using. The pictures help me to remember what I liked about the previous year and what I need to change.

I enjoy when you share and detonate your home, Katie! You’re style is so astonishing and pleasing and welcoming! I have to say I have tried using the vacuuming handle to vacuum off my table tops & agree with you that it helps out a lot! Also, we decorate and switch it up at times as well. Hi Katie, FYI you can buy those “flat rubber cup chair stoppers” to put under the legs and it will keep the couch pieces won’t move. We did to my daughters couch pieces and IT WORKED! GOOD LUCK, hope it works for you.

Run to hardware store and get some wood clamps for your couch. Lay the couch parts on their back and use the clamps to secure the frames together- may need two clamps on each side. Just make sure clamps expand and close for the size of your frame. Hugs!

Couch fix: Our couch is similar to yours, and we have tile floors also. We went to Home Depot and bought these square rubber things that specifically go under couch legs. Now our couch doesn't move at all, and I love it even more. PS, your house looks amazing!!! ❤❤❤

I love the sprays on the curtains but feel it would look better if you made like a line across with them at the top and only the leaves sticking up a little here and there and the spray at the bottom. Like falling leaves. Could use a tree branch cut for behind top edge look. Do not know if I explained it very well. I like the color on the curtains. Or maybe wrap the original tie back with leaves. I love how you picked the colors out and blended them. I got rid of a lot of my fall decor last year it was old. I simplified my home and colors. Just me and my husband now. All kids and even grandkids have grown up, mostly into adults. I do not decorate for separate holidays just fall. This year will be my simplistic yr yet. Added some baskets, some neutral-colored flowers and sprays to already existing arrangements I brought back last April on Ollies clearance. Ordered some fall-colored leaves for large vases. Will be making a center piece small for dining area. Then a squirrel and a few things added to tabletops. A few pieces in bathroom. Pumpkins all in the neutral fall colors. I love your pillows too. Most are simple. I am downsizing a lot. Good job, your home is beautiful, warm, and inviting.

It’s nice to see a couch decorated with pillows that don’t all have a huge karate shop in the middle. That look is getting so old. I prefer the full fluff look. I bought that same rust table runner, it’s so pretty!!
