I find it adorable to see how grateful you are! I feel like lately every KZbinr ever buys a mansion and still is like: 'well we will fix this, we will change out the kitchen cuz we don't like it and we will get golden toilets to fit the rest of our expensive furniture'. I grew up in Chicago area but moved to Milwaukee when I was 22. It will slowly and stealthily start to grow roots within your heart and then one day you'll wake up and say "IM NEVER LEAVING!" The seasons, the sight-seeing, the short drive to TONS of cool places, the year round festivals and fairs, the downtown area, the food and beer (do NOT miss state fair in august!). And for the most part, folks are super nice anywhere you go. Yall are gonna love it here. 💖

I'm not sure if everybody noticed it, but the most beautiful thing about that full-length mirror, was a reflection that was coming out of it. I personally think it’s a bad idea for a couple to buy a house together when not married!!! Living together and renting is fine. But you bring in whole new issues if you happen to break up. Agree in principle, but depends where you live in the UK... I live in Nottinghamshire and have just bought a 6 bedroom, 2600sqft house and it was significantly less than even half a mill... As you get closer and closer to London though, houses climb up in price quickly!

We decided to stick with electric washer and dryer to match and because we aren't really going to do a ton of laundry. We are getting a new water heater soon and will stick with gas for that reason.

Since you have to install electrical anyways for the washer and dryer you could move the laundry room anywhere you want. If you don't like the creepy laundry basin room 😂. I wouldn't like going down there either. It has horror movie written all over it lol. Maybe add more lighting and add some cabinets and change the basin out for a cute farm sink. Spray for spiders and creepy crawlers. Then maybe itll feel more like a traditional laundry room. Just needs some TLC. That house was surprisingly huge. Tons of rooms and tons of storage. I love it! A lot bigger than it looked from the outside. Congrats 🎉
