A good bacon eats on acorns, grains and extra vegetable slop. While we have acorn trees here in the Midwest, our pigs are feed with almost anything to supply the demand. Not the same at all! Just like chickens.. a very tasty chicken spends most of its time in a natural field,being moved around field to field for natural bugs and minerals when bathing in the dirt, comes home every night for protection. Not in a cage, getting pumped up with antibiotics or force fed like Foie gras. I love these food channels. I've been 155 lbs my whole life since senior year. Trying to eat more. Great inspiration! Good job! Come to KS sometime..I'll look into certain food challenges or infact I work for foster kids..maybe we could come up with one for you and Randy to do for a non profit event. The kids would really love that.

Interesting you mentioned “Big Hoss” and the Ponderosa there for the challenge. The family name on Bonanza was the same as the restaurant- Cartwright . First time I’ve seen a crowd almost turn on you just for putting jam on toast! And y’all were literally stuck in a corner. You would have to use the shovel to dig yourself out of that mess. So, I think Leah may actually be a Tardis (bigger on the inside!😂) This was backed up by Randy's excellent attempt to beat her, but getting a well earned 2nd. But, I really love your vids, and now I know why. You go for the win, not for the record (usually) and the result is a vid where we feel like we're out on a date or with a friend who REALLY loves to eat! tip for tinned tomatoes Katina - add some sugar to them and it takes away the tart taste of them or mix them with the beans and it does the same thing :)
