30yrs ago is the same time taken by Katitu Boys band to almost get forgotten in the history of Music. However, Joseph Mutambuki, the only brother and living sibling to Kasyoki feels that there is hope for it to resurrect. Very inspiring to learn there is still kasyoki's brother willing to carry on the legacy of katitu boys band. It was my favorite band when I was growing up. I wish him well despite the challenges facing him, kitu ikipatikana nitarusha on your next visit. I think he can do well on the one man frontier even if he can't find others to team up with.

May be the starting point would be to create a : Friends big Kasyoki/Katitu Group iam sure it would attract a considerable serious number.Secondly,we try and reach out to surviving members of the former Katitu band eg Kakai Malonza,Saimo, Mohammed,Kyaka, Peter Marashi,Mutua Emoro etc and encourage them to revive the band (They were immensely talented!)
