Any other Brits here think it's really funny how Kat always says 'Marks and Spencer' in full every time, sounds so formal!! (Brits usually just refer to is as M & S) So about the Indian food - Dishoom is always booked and really expensive but if you want to try good Indian food next time you are in London there is a fab Indian restaurant on Whitfield Street called 'Agra', not sure which area of the city your hotel is in, but 'Agra' is just by Warren Street tube station (Northern or Victoria lines). Have loved your channel for a long time, it's been great seeing you come to London so much this summer, I am going to the States next summer, tempted to book with your airline in the hope I get you on the flight!!

I highly recommend Compeed plasters, they are clear and water proof, they mold to the blister and stay on your skin until the skin has heeled. The plasters come in different sizes and shapes depending on where the blisters are on your feet. You can get them from Boots and most pharmacies over here, expensive but worth it xx

Kudos to you for fostering! I work with a local group and feeds, spays/neuters local feral cat colonies. We get as many as possible into foster homes to socialize them and then find them permanent homes. I cannot foster because they would never be allowed to leave. I become attached so easy.

I think those cucumbers are Namasu Japanese cucumbers Here's a recipe. So easy. Ingredients 1 large Japanese cucumber 2 teaspoons salt 1 tablespoon sugar ¼ cup rice vinegar Thinly slice the cucumber and place in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle salt on the cucumbers, toss. Let sit for 10 minutes. Drain the water. In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar in the rice vinegar. Pour over the salted cucumbers. Cover and let sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Ready to eat!

Yes Kat turmeric was good for internal inflammation.. was widely use in tropical asian countries as spice in cooking n traditional medicine.. its even good for the skin.. its a practice among young indians in my country to rub their face with freshly ground turmeric powder when they hits puberty.. to get rid pimples and keeps their skin healthy..

I just recently got a hint for breaking cowboy boots. The hint was wearing them on long car rides. As your feet swell they help to break the boot in. I am assuming it would help a little with vans as well.

Turmeric is wonderful stuff, and you don't need to suffer through drinking it, you can take it in capsules. Just make sure it has a little black pepper mixed in, they say it makes it more bio-available.

Hola, Kat! That Greek-style yogurt has MUSE-lee (old-fashioned European-style grains and dry fruits mix) inside. If you need to eat regular dairy products and can't find Lactaid tablets handy have some vegetable laxative tablets on hand, JIC (I'm also lactose intolerant).

That's only in the US. Lots of veggies get pickled and outside of the US we call them pickled ___name of veggie___. I remember the first time in the US when I was asked if I wanted pickles, and I asked pickled what? Which kind of went into a comedy routine with the response - pickled pickles , and me asking yes so what are those pickles etc etc. Lol.

We have lots of different pickled vegetables here , so pickled cucumbers would be pickled cucumbers, we have mixed pickles , pickled red cabbage, onions , piccalilli which are vegetables in a mustard pickle sauce, ( I am sounding like bubba in Forrest Gump)

In the US we have lots of pickled veggies too but specifically pickled cucumbers are just called pickles. Pickles would never mean anything other than pickled cucumbers to an American. But yes, there are lots of things that are eaten pickled.

Hey Kat great video as always! Concerning the pair of vans. Just keep wearing them. Depends on your preference but I am wearing them with no socks.. freshly washed feet of course haha. My vans that I have currently took me about 4 years to finally break in, No joke! I got so discouraged cause my feet seem to be too big for them but the bigger size were WAY to big. I would wear them and then put them back in the closet. I would wear them a handful of times each year. Finally a month a ago I took them out and finally!! They have been broken in. Now they feel like silk curtains draped oh so gently over my feet. With the perfect amount of wiggle room. Love me some vans but can be difficult to break them in. Cheers to you and Chip and the puppies! Be waiting patiently for the next video..

Mix the ginger & the turmeric (curcummin) together. You can make a tea at home with ginger, turmeric, pepper, lemon juice & honey if you want to sweeten it. If you drink this daily you should see a big difference in your arthritis.

My daughter uses lactaid pills now too, she had a harsh lesson this summer at a campus experience that ended up in doctor visit. Pizza 2 meals a day for 5 days got her milk allergy big time.

salad cream is like mayo but its made with hard boiled egg yolks as apposed to raw eggs :D also if you are in london again defo find and try Hotel chocolate they do awsome hot chocolates and the coffee isnt too bad but make sure to try the whip as its yumm
