I think the calendar is a brilliant idea. It takes time to find yourself and to grow into who you fully are meant to be. Im 48 and only just growing into who i truly want to be now. 2024 has kind of left scars on me and I feel so damaged. I have really tried to plan my first launch of the year but I can't get excited about it sadly. I use a big A2 calendar, I put it in a frame and map out the whole family's appointments, plans etc. It makes it so much easier to keep track when you can see the year as a whole. But also I can never find cute ones and it always looks so ugly. But is such an important part of our life. Maybe you can do A2 versions for 2026? 🤔

While your travels were inspiring for you, it sounds like travelling too much became overwhelming for your creative brain. Just like tasting too many things on a charcuterie board and not being able to appreciate every little thing, you need to cleanse your palette before continuing 😂 I love that you have the ability to reflect, it's the best isn’t it! You're super lucky to have travelled so much, and now you can look forward to listening to the rain come down and draw again. PS: while you may not realise it, you are still very young. Catherine! why don’t you stage a gallery show of your favorite works in your closest city? You can sell them as large paintings or as various art prints, and it will give your brand a sense of elevation that it so deserves. I don’t know how others categorize your work, but I see it as fine art. If I was near you, I would definitely go and I would bring all my friends. It might create a new category of sales for you so that you can spend more time drawing instead of making and shipping a consumer product.

I really like the idea of the huge calendar. BUT there are a few reasons I wouldn't buy it: 1. there is one sheet at the bottom that is much more vibrant in colour. it doesn't look cohesive. 2. this is supposed to be a calendar to look at form every point of the room and immediately see your future deadlines etc. But that is not really possible with tis calendar. It is neither big enough (the calendar part of the sheet not the paper itself) nor does it have enough contrast. And then there is another thing that is kind of bothering me but it is just personal preference: you could use colour much more wisely to make it look like a cohesive piece of art. maybe a colour gradient from top to bottom (green to blue to purple to pink) or something of that sort. Otherwise it looks like it could be several pieces of art from different artists with a similar style. After all it is meant to be recognizable as one huge piece of art and serve the purpose of being seen from afar.
