In CHAT’s Gallery 1, The Hall and The Park of the Mills, Kato Izumi’s haunting and mesmerising humanoid figures gaze out from their colourful canvases, some stretching up to a height of over 5 metres, some made from stone and sprouting colourful living bodies, while others seem to settle discreetly in corners.
