Absolutely loved Gemens great food plenty of ice cold Keo. Another good bar was at the side of the Aloe called the Friedship bar.

Really hope they get a crack on with this. It was underway last year when we visited. Back in 20 days staying at the Anabelle and didn't think we would have a second year of building works on our doorstep 😔 i know it will be lovely when done but had years on old town etc.

Yes, though the sea might be a bit chilly for me then as I am used to hot weather now.

What a shame about the aloe hotel and the romantica restaurant. Things are changing drastically around that area . ❤

Not half. Had many a good meal at the romantica but been closed a good few years now. (5± I think, maybe 10?) The big towers (singular for now but apparently 6 planned?) are also an eyesore, totally out of keeping with Paphos vibe imho.
