KATOGO BYENDA (offals) RECIPE
I know all our Areas is full of Matooke so I decided to give you recipes on how you can enjoy this MATOOKE SEASON
So simple to do at home and your family will like it..
I used only home ingredients
Tamotoes
Green paper
Carrots
Garlic
Onions
Matooke
Offals Ebyenda
Salt
PREPARATION.
*Wash your offals me I washed mine three times.
*Chop them in your shape desired.
*Put them on fire with enough water with salt and grated garlic.
*Check on them if ready me I checked mine at this stage but there were not yet ready.
*So when they are ready pour the offals water into matooke to get the real aroma of BYENDA..so set it on fire and do other steps.
*Then when the water has reduced and I Boiled them for 45minutes..but it better u boil them overnight or more hours.
*Heat your pan and drop all your offals in sourcepan me I didn't use Cooking oil.
*Add in chopped onions and carrots and fry for 5mins.
*After 5mins you add your tamotoes and green Paper and Boil for 5mins.
*After five minutes tamotoes will produce juices.
*You can add in your Reyco or any Curry of your choice.
*Remove some water from MATOOKE and pour some in offals.
*So after you pouring some water leave to Boil for 3mins.
*After 3mins pour all your BYENDA(offals) IN MATOOKE.
*Here we have poured all our BYENDA in matooke..so Cover on matooke and Boil it on low fire for about 30mins to get good results..but if you are too hungry Boil for few minutes.
*After you can serve your KATOGO with OVACADO and enjoy it with friends and family.
