2年前まで、この地区に3年住んでいました。とても懐かしい。プラナカン文化を気にしなくて、こんな色使いがあるんだ位でした。結構ヨーロッパ系の人が住んでて、夜遅くまでパブが開いていて賑やかでした。友達のシンガポール人とビールを飲んでバカ話をしたのが懐かしいです。

The word Peranakan is not exclusively for the Chinese, it literally means of mix race. Fyi

シンガポールの場合、政府がほぼすべての土地を所有しているので計画性があるんだと思います！

Poor you! It is hot & humid. Carry an umbrella always cos you never know when the sudden rain will come. You should try the famous Laksa. Tell them to put the sambal(chilli) separate cos you may not be able to take the spiciness. Wear cap & sunglasses cos the afternoon sun is scorching & glaring. And of course water bottle. Good luck!
