Bro he portrayed ghazanfar and muzaffar as children who turn to terrorism as their innocent families are killed by intelligence agencies or armies of other countries without reason. Faris's story is very unique and kind of sad. If he was consistent, there would be no one in Pakistani Hip Hop that could compete with him. And that's not exaggerated at all. He writes very explicitly and blatantly about social issues. He calls out any and everyone that's a munafiq (hypocrite). The main issues he writes about are: hypocricy (munafqat), violence (tashaddud), relegious extremism (100 ft ke faasle pe kharre do buddhe babon se larr parra...aap sab munafiq hain bund mara), political agendas (listen to Awaam and Jawab De). And his writing style is satirical and comical. Think of him as a much more intelligent and (personal opinion) refined version of Lil Dicky. He faced serious backlash because of this for his first song. He did two other songs and because of Pakistan's socio-political religious environment, he faced further backlash and was disheartened and became very inconcistent. He came back this year with an AMAZING song and shut everyone up again. Talha Anjum once said if Faris was consistent, there would be no competing him on the mic. Even Indian rappers over on your side such as Raga rate him very highly. His major songs: Awaam - Farish Shafi ft. Moroo Clap for the BBC - Talal Qureshi ft. JustReact Arjun People have very different views about reaction channels. I’ve been following a lot of reaction channels myself but primarily the ones who used to breakdown stuff because I used to learn a lot of new stuff about the original song (hence original content). I started a similar one where I don’t just listen to the song but I breakdown and review the song adding my own flavor to it (which by the looks of it seems to be enjoyed by people, primarily because they learn new stuff) People and actual rappers have been appreciative of the content as well looking at the shoutouts that I’ve gotten and even they are okay with their content being advertised and thoroughly enjoyed by someone on Camera. So the ones criticized can be the ones who just listen to the songs on camera and are done, otherwise, I don’t think the criticism applies to the ones who are spreading knowledge and love they share for the actual hip hop content out there 😇
