Carl Lewis failed 2 drug tests before Seoul Olympics but it was classified as cold medicine and was allowed to race even tho the drugs in his system found were not on the allowed list. And hes classified as the clean athlete throughout all these years. Flo Jo also retired at the height of powers just as drug testing become more strict. Americans not doping is the biggest bs ever. Russians and Germans beat you at your own game and now you cant stop lashing out on them. The russia olympics ban is nothing but a disgrace. Krabbe was a holdover of the GDR drug and roid machine. Ottey must have been on a down cycle. I am quite sure Torrance was not and never a drug cheat, she was always very vocal throughout her career about those whom she suspected. And this was not a case of who yells the loudest is projecting. The high jump winner at these championships was German (West) and very vocal against former GDR athletes she was competing against. There were a lot of athletes at the time who spoke out. Same for when the Chinese did all sorts of record breaking in 1993 most of whom were never seen or heard from again.
