Katrina and the waves when I was 12 years old. I wrote a song on a notebook, and I wrote a song in pencil. Freak wind pick up my song I told the Lord it he wants it to be a number 1 hit he needed to find the right person will keep it the way I wrote the song. I wrote the song when I found out that my step dad really loved me. I live in Michigan thank you for using the name Katrina and the waves and didn't change the way I wrote the song.

That is VERY interesting indeed. Many people writing here feel something special about the above song (and even more so about "Love Shine a Light" which also has a special history). The Holy Spirit is involved in both songs, and of course He is of the Lord, and also like the wind, as Jesus told us. "Love shine a light" was written to honour the 30th anniversary of the Swindon branch of The Samaritans - the world's first suicide-prevention helpline, established in the UK by Rev. Chad Varah - his first funeral was of a 14-year-old girl who did not know what to do when she had her first period, and killed herself. As I hope you know, Katrina means pure... There are quite a few meaningful connections in there; but this is how it ALWAYS is when the Holy Spirit is involved...
