One thing unique about Katrina is her ability to control her voice. In this rendition of Over The Rainbow, she begins so softly, whispering like a feather floating in the air. Then, she climbs higher, taking her voice slowly to the next step. Towards the end, she lets her heart and her voice loose, like a hurricane in full force. Katrina is a treasure because she lets us experience the full spectrum of human emotions and takes us on a journey through the magic of her voice. It will take a long, long time before we find another one like her. What a gift Katrina is!

Been scanning on KZbin all the Katrina Velarde’s SiKat Ako Concert uploaded videos while in tears. I am so proud of you Katrina. Since the beginning, when u joined X Factor, became part of AKA Jam and Newborn divas, when you made impressions of Intl artists, when u became a regular talent in Musichall and so on... I am a big fan and supporter. I even quarreled with my colleague at work who teased me that you are not SiKat. I have missed a lot of opportunities too, especially when I was in Manila last Oct 2018 and did not go to your gig in Musichall. I feel sorry for myself. But nevertheless, I am so proud of you mamshie Katrina Velarde. Sana magkaroon ako ng chance na makita ka in person and mapanood ka in a live performance. I am so emotional right now.
