She didn't work harder than anyone else, especially the girls that have trained far longer and were more talented. Sorry, nothing against Manon, but it really bothers me that every person cut in the finale was more prepared and this all came down to popularity instead of the people that had been dreaming for this moment far longer. I think in the future this should just be up to the judges so it's about talent instead of visuals.

Um, the judges could have bumped up anyone else’s score like they did with Megan to have them debut over Manon but they didn’t. They wanted her just as much as us fans did. Also, she’s been dreaming of being a singer just as long as the other girls, if you look at articles about her she discusses it, just cause she got this opportunity late doesn’t mean she’s any less deserving. In fact, it’s how life often is. Learning how to deal with not getting what you want is a life lesson that most people have to deal with unless they’re very privileged. You can either sit in bitterness and complain or take it as a learning opportunity to do better next time.

@@NickaLah People just love to undermine Manon’s efforts and hard work by saying “the other girls worked harder”. Sad for the other girls but it’s not Manon’s fault if she was chosen. More people voted for her as well. The judges already knew who they wanted cause they chose to debut Megan even tho she had low votes. Debuting was Manon’s dream as well and she achieved it. Instead of supporting your faves who didn’t debut you choose to spread negativity on someone else.

The people voting for her turned it into a popularity contest. Just the fact that Sophia still showed up for rehearsals and the Buttons performance with full on covid when Manon did w/e she felt like is a little insulting. Didn't she miss one of the eliminations? Like, you can't just sit in a chair while sick, when other people did far more when they got sick? People turned it into something it wasn't, saying it was racist to point out it. In this industry you have to perform when you don't feel like it, and I don't just mean the harsh standards of kpop, it's not unusual even in the west to perform when you're sick. I think in the future these projects should just have the staff choose the members. It's fine to have the public vote until the last episode to save a person or two until the end. But the final choice should be the experts, because apparently the public can't be trusted to be fair nor objective.

It’s so funny that when people vote for Manon it’s a “popularity” Contest but never say anything when it’s about the other girls. People just love to undermine Manon’s talent and also the amount of hard work she put in into it. Even the judges praised her for her growth. At the end of the day Manon is in Katseye and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Tbh, I only heard rumors about what happened with her without any proof. I actually have been wondering if it was another Garam situation where people start rumors and run with them without actual evidence. And honestly, I don't share her political views if the rumors are true, but something controversial here... I don't know if I agree that people should be kept from pursuing their dream just because I don't agree with them politically. Especially true if it's clear they're more talented than people who weren't cut, particularly Manon.
