WHen I watch vids like this it makes it so clear that there is so much beauty inside people. They are brave and creative and pure even after making mistakes. With such abundance of beauty each person can be constantly immersed in beauty. Yet we all go around chasing to aquire things anyway.

I went all the way from Brazil just for Katsucon, and most of that was because of videos like these, that inspired me to follow my dream to go there someday. It's surreal seeing that now I'm in one of these awesome videos. Thank you for helping making my dream come true (:

I agree with Otakuleague, cosplay is about having fun, height, color, weight does not matter because cosplay is te be enjoyed by everyone

Let the energy of cosplaying fill you. Team up with other characters from the same anime and do photos. We all have these questions in our heads "Will I look good" "Is my outfit ok" so on and so on.. No one Judges you we are all shy at first. I've seen painted cardboard cosplay outfits to expensive custom ones and everything in between. So I encourage you and anyone to come out and have fun dressing up as your fav character meet new friends and form lifelong bonds.

@FishbonesCafe Thanks for the feedback! As far as the camera goes it's very hard to achieve a smooth look on a very low budget. And more is on the way! Unfortunately it's a bit far away. Otakon 2012 is next!

@pennyphotography Thanks for the advice! I built a rig a few days before the con out of pipes, a dumbbell weight, a c-clamp and a bunch of screws and pipe caps.

Do what you can veg out or gym or even just riding a bike or swim. Just take it day by day don't eat late at night but if soo have a salad. Olive Garden dressing yum. I'll encourage you even if I have to do it every damn day =). I'v seen guys in straight out maid or girl out fits dresses. People that fill the outfit alot but in the end they did it. Have no regrets in life don't look back and ask should I have done it. It's not a good feeling. Throw on your outfit in 2013 and be happy!!!

Good work! Did you shoot this free-hand? Pretty smooth if you did. If you're looking for a good stabilizer that won't break your bank, check out the BlackBird stabilizer. We use that (as well as my full-rig stabilizer) for the Beat Down Boogie movies (Modern War Gear Solid, Modern Warfare 3 Starring Ghost, and the upcoming Mario Warfare). Anyhow, this was nicely done. I wish I was there this year. Ah well, always next!
