What was the difference in a year and a day? I don't remember the last time I felt pure utter happiness. Smiling just to smile. A simple emotion that can make or break life. I suppose a sort of bitterness has overtaken me with the idea of happiness. I believe we all want others to think we are happy but in the end we are all a mirage of ourselves. I'm not happy. He's not happy. She's not happy. I was walking by the woods one day mom. I just wanted to say I really miss you. Sometimes the only thing that brings me peace now is the thought of you; or on rare days a walk in the woods. Its more lonely though. As if, without you theirs not much worth in these woods. You made these walks a lot funner. The fragments of light cracking through to the floor of the forest, remind me of you. I was the canopy; and you were the light breaking through to my floor. You made me happy mom. I really miss you. Maybe this forest isn't ugly just because your not here. but I can't see it with all the arrays of color I use to remember. Why was I happier when I was younger? Is it because you were there with me? Is it because I was thoughtless? Or because I was blissfully ignorant? Why does it seem we are forced into reality when we become adults? Why is it a known perception you can't be ignorant? What's wrong with ignorance mom? What's wrong with ignorance if it brings you bliss? ha. Maybe that's ignorant. Life has so many in's and out's that theirs no time to point them all out. Let me live ignorant mom. Let me be blissful. Maybe the days when I looked at the window in a rainy day, and made water droplets race to the finish line are over. Maybe the times I laughed as I had no care in the world are over. Maybe the times where I didn't think of the past, but living in the present are over. but why ma? Why are they over? as I look down, with my eyes swelling with tears. I noticed a silhouette from afar. My tears dropped, and soon I could see it taking the shape of a girl. A girl. A girl with a red dress, and a white cape. With a ribbon on her head, and leave's flowing around her. She looked magical. Strangely happy. She had no smile on her face, but she didn't look sad. She looked.. content. It seemed as if she wasn't stuck in the past like so many of us, yet she lived in the present. With her magic, and floating leaves she just lived. Do miracles exist? "I don't know, but maybe its all about faith. About taking the jump that miracles do exist. and even if you fall, a scraped knee isn't so bad right? we got them all the time when we were younger. So why are we so afraid to fall now?" Don't observe the girl in the woods next time. She won't always be there. She passes on the torch to you. Next time you be that girl in the woods. Change someones life. pass the torch, and give miracles to others. living in the past is easy. but living in the present is better.

I don't really know why, but out of the many videos you've posted, this is one of the few that really gets to me. Maybe it's music, maybe it's the image, or maybe it's both. I feel neither joy nor sadness in this song, but what I perhaps experience is a heartfelt sense of wonder and awe. I can close my eyes, picture myself in that same scene as her, and simply marvel. In that world, I'm fascinated by everything and anything -- the light breeze caressing my face, the quiet rustle of the surrounding trees, and the delicate dance of the leaves. They're all captured with admiration and reverence, and I sincerely want to stay there forever. Suspended in a moment that repeats itself endlessly, holding onto a unique sense of tranquility... It's something truly to marvel, no? The vermilion sun paints the forest in similar hues, and a soulful warmth envelops me. I stand still and listen. I hear the song of the spirits, the hymn of a world disconnected from my own... It's really a wonderful tune. This song is many things. It's sincerity. It's wonder. It's a quiet prayer for oneself. It's separate from the troubles and tribulations we experience in reality. It's all of those, and many more. And that is what makes it so beautiful.

+PTD In my case this song feels like... looking at the past. Even though you can think of all the harsh times you've experienced, now they are too irrelevant to be sad about. And that only brings it to a different level of sadness.. those feelings used to be so real, and now the pain you've sincerely felt is no more. As much as time is the cure, one might be upset about its undeniable effect. But you can't help but... feel relieved from what used to bother you, though you don't want it to lose importance. This mixed up feeling ends up as something neither joyful nor sad, as you said. You are only sure about one thing - your life experience added weight to your mind and reflects on what you are now.
