A lot of the stuff Kat said is not even a joke or funny. His delivery and voice are what makes the things he says seem like jokes, if someone else said the same things in a different way, it may very well not be considered funny, especially a person whom is not a known comedian. People know he’s a comedian so they are likely intent on laughing. The gentleman is insightful and many people are not, which can cause people to have nervous laughter as they attempt to play off the fact that the statement went over there heads or is like an epiphany. Many people laugh at stuff when some else laughs because of humans innate need to want to fit in, some call it peer pressure, groupthink, etc.
