Materials are NEVER wasted as longer as long as you get something out of it - be it fun, experience, something you're prod of etc. This mindset + "I need to make something perfect every time" combined to ruin any fun I had making art for YEARS. It took 3 therapists telling me I'm too hard on myself and I expect way too much. I thought "No, I expect nothing I haven't done before", but then I realized thats not true: I used to make art for the fun of it, using art supplies I love touching and using. You/she mentioned loving getting all inky, just completely immersing yourself in the process of art. Someone whos afraid of wasting materials can't experience the bliss! Please, whoever is reading this, be kind to your self. The world is cruel enough already.

I looooove both of the art pieces so much, the crystals with purple background speaks to me so much (well, I love crystals and purple is my fav colour 😂). But the meadow kitty, oh gosh it'd be so adorable and summery as a duvet cover with matching pillow covers 💜

The backgrounds turned out so great (and that pouncing kitty, so cute!)! I actually think it's way more wasteful to go buy more supplies before using those you have already. Now that you've experimented with what you already had, you can make an informed and cost-efficient purchase next time if you want to keep doing this kind of artwork, but buying things just to experiment could've turned into more unused supplies if you didn't enjoy the experience. So, please, don't feel bad 😊

Oh these came out so pretty! I love the kitty and the crystal one looks so mystical, the purple really worked well with it. I'd be curious to see if you could get a different effect by coloring the page, then spritzing with isopropyl alcohol and then dripping the inks, so it's kinda wet on wet. I hope you do more with the other backgrounds! I'd love to see the multi-colored one 💜

Thanks for posting another video! Glad you're back! I love these artworks, they are so bright and happy. My idea on "wasting" the Copic ink is that first, you weren't using it anyway so it's good you're using it, and second, it's your money you spent so no one else should care. If you’re enjoying the process of creating, it’s never a waste. Are refills a bit pricey? Well, yeah but they made the ink refills hold less but cost less too (well kinda, not by that much though lol.) I love how the backgrounds came out! I will absolutely be trying this, and honestly, you still have a bit of a decent amount left over (some of the ink refills.) This may be a bit more product heavy but the copic airbrush spray doesn’t fall too far behind in terms of how much product is used PLUS how expensive and short those air cans last. If you’re having fun, then take those refills and douse that paper up, dollie! Love the finished pieces, plus unless used on the regular, even 1/3 bottle of refill left would still last quite a while!

Beautiful artwork, but all that smelly thing and well-ventilated space. I just do everything in my living room. I like the smell. It's alcohol. 😉. They put a substance in it to smell bad so you wouldn't drink it. That's the same with alcohol in hospitals. Also pitting something in it so alcoholic wouldn't drink it... they use to put ether in it. But as you can have an ether addict too. Now they put something else in it. But if you are a true alcoholic you drink it anyway... but yes it is to avoid drinking it... 😀

Don't know why anyone would make a remark that you use Copic ink. It's way cheaper than buying new ink... you have it in the house and you say you don't use it much anyway. So yes good decision... 👍🏻. I missed you. So if you can do art without coming out of the house, I understand. I don't like to leave my house either... especially in winter.
