Katugashinna waterfall is located on the Rikillagaskada road in Kandy, about 2km below Rikillagaskada town, Madhanwala Purana Rajamaha Vihara, about 1.5km towards Rikillagaskada town, you can see this waterfall.
This waterfall, which can be seen only once in a year, collapses with the current rainfall creating a very beautiful view....
The catchment area of this waterfall is the lake called Valugama. This waterfall is created from the water that flows out of the Valugama lake with heavy rainfall. A dam is built above the waterfall and the water is taken to the agricultural works in the Madhanwala area.
So we will not be able to take care of this waterfall for the time being.
This waterfall with a height of about 50m becomes one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka..
