Stay close with God bc the world and the things that are in it will only let you down and disappoint you. Alcohol drugs sex or anything like this may " feel good". But - it should not be something you want . Forever. Bc if we were do these things forever then eventually we would. Die. God's pure love to us all saves us all from this destruction. Drugs alcohol sex gives us what we think we want bc it feels "good". When in reality - these things do nothing but pollute the body and mind. Trust God. Trust yourself to be strong and find your inner peace and well being. And God - will not let you down.

This is a beautiful worship song and love iis a central message of the Gospel but to know that God is love is not enough. It is like a foundation but it is not like all the structure of the building. Knowing God is love in a deep sense is enough for faith. But you should also know that He is holy, He is Lord and Judge. There is a balance.

I lost my brother last Dec. 5 2022. He was severly handicapped. Non-verbal and on a feeding tube among other ailments. He was 64. His Birthday is comong up in Sept. I still grieve like you are. I love your reaction here, and all your reactions and love your conversion back to Jesus. Im a Christian too! Praise God! I dont know why he chose me. It humbles me. Im a cradle Catholic too.
