I work as a nurse in long-term acute care, basically people whose insurance ran out for ICU but they're too critical for skilled nursing facility. I sang "In Jesus Name" multiple times to very ill patients. I have seen tears in the eyes of two critically ill people days before they passed because of your lyrics and melodies. In suffering they refocused on Jesus! This song also has lyrics pertinent to them! I will be learning this song next. Then one day as I got into my car and started it up, the radio started playing out of no where with this song playing beginning with the chorus of Hold On Just A Little Bit Longer! I began to weep and raise my hands giving GOD the praise that I knew He deserved. This was ultimately the confirmation that I needed to know that I was going to be okay. I had never heard this song until that day but it has become one of my favorite songs. Thank you so much for writing this song. Your story is my story. After my brother died unexpectedly when he was very young, I eventually lost hope over time and lost the will to live. I was his older brother and I blamed myself for his accidental death. I was completely depressed and couldn't find a way out. Even though I was a child of God, I did not go to him for help and didn't even offer prayer for myself. One night I thought that sleeping pills were my only option. But before I could take them, Jesus showed up in my dark room and took me by my hand. Together, we traveled back in time to Golgatha where he was being crucified. You looked at me and said, It is finished! Give me the broken pieces to your heart and I will put them back together. Jesus saved my life that night. He came looking for His lost sheep. And I thank God that He found me!

Has he listened to anything from Russell Brand and his talks about coming to know Christ? As I was praying I got those things... Russell's testimony is something God reminded me of when praying for your brother. Try finding some things or ask him to look in to it. It's a door. I'm an intercessor and that is what I got as I prayed. Don't give up praying. God can and will keep trying to save His precious child. I'm right there with you with daily chronic pain..and it gets a heavy load and can lead to depression quickly! It has led me and another friend/brother in Christ to start an Enduring Chronic Pain group at church which has in turn given strength and encouragement to others dealing with ongoing pain! It has been so good for my own growth and dependence. We have been using Wiersbe books ..Be Patient, and now Be Hopeful. They are great, short chapters with reflection questions! Also I liked the book "Why Doesn't God Fix It" by Kimberly Rae. She has a series of books dealing with her chronic health issues! And you can't go wrong listening to any of Joni Erikson Tada's books or website. Blessings to you!

My husband had back surgery on Aug 4,23. The next dad he had a heart attack and a few days later he had double pneumonia. By the very early morning hour he was put on a ventilator. The doctors would tell two months later they never expected him to live once he went on the ventilator. He had numerous other complications in the almost 7 weeks it took to get him home. Why is this song so special? Because it played everyday on the Christian radio station as I drove 30 minutes to and from the hospital. There wasn’t one day the God didn’t have this song playing to give me the hope and strength to keep us both going.

I’ve been battling anxiety and depression for the past 17 years of my life. I was born again in march 2020. The last two years have been the worst by far but Jesus has personally promised to help me. He gave me a dream where i was in a muddy tunnel and I found a ladder and began climbing it. Half way I noticed I was only using my two arms, my legs were hanging and then I tried pulling myself up but I couldn’t. I gave it my all but that’s when a bright light with shimmer came down and gave me the strength I lacked and pulled me up. Even though it was a dream it was supernatural. And the following days he also gave me Isaiah 41:10-13. And ever since then, when things get tough, he keeps reminding me of those verses along with Proverbs 3:5-6. Jesus never said it would be easy but he did promise to help us.

Very beautiful song... lived a Christian life, but never thought I could be saved by God. God came to me in 2017 and in that same year, I was baptized again. I felt reborn. I didn't have the best middle school life and that was part of the reason I came to Jesus and God to be saved. Without God, I wouldn't be where I am now. But over those years, I had a lot of ups and downs in my life that I felt I couldn't hold on. But with God, He helped me to hold on to my faith.

For the past month I have been going through an extremely painful process with with God, he's took so much from me this past month that it hurts now. He's took my sin away and has called me by my name, now just when I was starting to see God do so much good in my life I've realized that he wasn't done. I praise him for how he's changed me but now I'm in pain, I feel suffering from what he's doing in my life now.
