LYRICS:
Are we crazy
Living our lives through a lens
Trapped in our white picket fence
Like ornaments
So comfortable, we’re living in a bubble, bubble
So comfortable, we cannot see the trouble, trouble
Aren’t you lonely
Up there in utopia
Where nothing will ever be enough
Happily numb
So comfortable, we’re living
in a bubble, bubble
So comfortable, we cannot
see the trouble, trouble
So put your rose-colored glasses on
And party on
Turn it up, it’s your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
Yeah, we think we’re free
Drink, this one’s on me
We’re all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm
To the rhythm
Turn it up, it’s your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
Yeah, we think we’re free
Drink, this one’s on me
We’re all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm
To the rhythm
Are we tone deaf
Keep sweeping it under the mat
Thought we could do better than that
I hope we can
So comfortable, we’re living in a bubble, bubble
So comfortable, we cannot see the trouble, trouble
So put your rose-colored glasses on
And party on
Turn it up, it’s your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
Yeah, we think we’re free
Drink, this one’s on me
We’re all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm
To the rhythm
Turn it up, it’s your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
Yeah, we think we’re free
Drink, this one’s on me
We’re all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm
To the rhythm
It is my desire
Break down the walls to connect, inspire
Up in your high place, liars
Time is ticking for the empire
The truth they feed is feeble
As so many times before
They greed over the people
They stumbling and fumbling
And we about to riot
They woke up, they woke up
the lions
Turn it up, it’s your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
Yeah, we think we’re free
Drink, this one’s on me
We’re all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm
To the rhythm

HIDDEN MESSAGES IN THIS VIDEO CLIP: 0:03 - A theme park called "Oblivia". 0:22 - Comments on everyone's obsession with social media. 0:30 - Cotton candy in the form of atomic bombs. 0:42 - Katy pricks her finger, showing that even if everything looks perfect, it is not what it seems. 0:48 - Roller coaster separated by sex, reinforcing a heteronormative lifestyle. 1:07 - An amusement park shows houses falling, referring to the fall in the housing market. 1:20 - Everyone's obsession with social media gratification. 1:30 - The sign says 1984, a possible link to the 1984 novel, which describes a dystopian society where people are constantly monitored. 1:37 - Katy's male counterpart gets a much higher validation score for doing the same thing as her, a woman. 1:46 - The 'There's no place like home' ride throws people back on the fence - an obvious allusion to Trump's immigration ban / wall. 1:50 - The "Bombs Away" tour shows a flood of bombs falling. 2:15 - 'Hell H20' seems to comment on the world's dependence on oil and its impact not only on the environment, but also on our own bodies. 2:39 - A hamster wheel that a white man seems to navigate successfully is incredibly difficult for a black man and an Asian woman who fail. 2:40- Society giving roles to women and men (the typical housewife and the husband reading the news). 2:50 - Katy is the only person able to see the "Nuclear Family" video being played to see the darkest truth behind it. 3:46 - Katy successfully wins the hamster wheel; hope for the future? some are still missing, but you guys already understood! Now are you starting to understand the messages that Witness has? There are many more there, just open your eyes and ears to understand. This album is WONDERFUL. The true is that Katy brought a political position in which she had not brought in her previous albums which ended up causing strangeness in people. In addition, there is the fact that she detonated Trump at the time of the American election and that made the Republican part of the U.S. hate her. I feel sorry for her, because she didn't deserve the hate she took in any way. This album is ahead of its time! and since you are here, give the recognition that the queen deserves: listen to daisies»»»kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKbXeX6IgKeaiJI listen to harleys in hawaii»»»kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYKomJ6ietybidE listen to smalk talk»»»kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6LYn4SXhbaoo80

"Chained to the Rhythm" by Katy Perry is a pop song that carries a social and political message. The lyrics critique societal complacency and the tendency for people to become numb or indifferent to important issues. The "rhythm" in the song represents the routine and distractions that people often immerse themselves in, while being oblivious to the larger problems in the world. The song encourages listeners to break free from the "chained" rhythm of life, awaken to reality, and engage with the world around them. It addresses themes such as political apathy, conformity, and the impact of media consumption on shaping perspectives. The chorus emphasizes the idea that people are dancing to a certain rhythm without fully understanding or questioning the implications of their actions. Overall, "Chained to the Rhythm" is a call for awareness, urging individuals to be more conscious of the world's issues and to actively participate in making positive changes rather than passively accepting the status quo.

Katy however (3:02) realizes that something is wrong. Could be a reference to the election. And about the video of the hamster shows us the monotony that drives our society, which we must wake up. The hands are the state that handles and imposes, the hamster is us, we just keep there letting ourselves rule without doing anything. WE HAVE TO WAKE UP RIGHT NOW. She was awake before us, and now she can’t even crack the top 10 and she’s actually scared now to promote her music and speak up on political issues because of how twisted her words got and how traumatized she was from the hate over a haircut and songs with REAL MEANING. KATY deserves better. My ride or die. edit: oh wow this blew up was not expecting that

0:02 The theme park is called Oblivia, meaning we're oblivious to what's going on in the world 0:22 people continuously making selfies: referring to today's social media obsession 0:29 the cotton candy are shaped like atomic bomb clouds 0:37 American dream enablers wearing space masks. They very much resemble the World Nobles from One Piece; a privileged rank in humanity that cannot bear to breathe the same air as normal humans so they wear this uniforms. They would always keep a gun with them in case anyone lesser would question or fight them, then they would kill them instantly 1:05 The "Great American Dream Drop", the ride with the houses falling symbolizing the housing crisis with people getting evicted because they can't make their mortgage payments 1:20 more reference to social media obsession 1:30 the sign indicates the year ''1984'', could very much be a reference to ''1984'' by George Orwell, a book about a dystopian society 1:35 the man next to Katy gets more validation, despite doing the exact same thing as her 1:48 an attraction named ''No Place Like Home'' throws people over a white picket fence, obviously referring to Trump's immigration policies. The woman who gets thrown over the fence looks like she's wearing some type of headscarf, so that might be a reference to the Muslim ban 1:50 "BOMBS AWAY" when Katy sings "thought we could do better than that" 2:00 people in line for a wheel. The white man 2:05 continues to run successfully without running out, but the black man (2:35) and Asian woman (2:38) fall down on their way 2:23 oil/water crisis 2:45 the people around Katy watch a big event and continue to be in a trance-like state, unable to notice what is happening around them. Katy however (3:02) realizes that something is wrong. Could be a reference to the election. The 3D glasses could also, however, be about the media controlling people/references how people watch cable news passively without really taking in what's going on in the world

Y claro los que la quisieron desacreditar lo hicieron y muy bien.. Pero ahora ya se supo realmente lo que sucedió.

HIDDEN MESSAGES IN THIS VIDEOCLIP: 0:03 - A theme park called ‘Oblivia’. 0:22 - Comments on everyone’s obsession with social media. 0:30 - Cotton candy shaped like atomic bombs. 0:42 - Katy pricks her finger, showing that even if everything appears perfect, it isn’t what it seems. 0:48 - Roller coaster separated by gender, enforcing a heteronormative lifestyle. 1:07 - An amusement park rides depicts houses falling, referring to the housing market crash. 1:20 - Everyone’s obsession with social media gratification. 1:30 - The sign says 1984, a possible tie to the novel 1984 which depicts a dystopian society where people are constantly monitored. 1:37 - Katy’s male counterpart gets a much higher validation score for doing the same thing as she, a woman, does. 1:46 - ‘There’s No Place Like Home’ ride throws people back over a fence - an obvious allusion to Trump’s immigration ban/wall. 1:50 - The ‘Bombs Away’ ride shows a flurry of falling bombs. 2:15 - 'Inferno H20' seems to comment on the world’s dependence on oil and its impact on not only the environment but also our own bodies. 2:39 - A hamster wheel that a white man seems to successfully navigate proves incredibly difficult for a black man and an Asian woman who both fail. 2:40- Society giving roles to women and men, (the typical housewife and the husband reading the news). 2:50 - Katy is the only one able to see passed the ‘Nuclear Family’ video being played to see the darker truth behind it. 3:46 - Katy successfully beats the hamster wheel; hope for the future?

Very very deep. Everyone in this world seems to be chained to the rhythm which symbolizes social media or trending thoughts. Most of us have fell into the life of "parrot", we speak what others are speaking, we do what others are doing, we play what others are playing, we wear what others are wearing, even those things are NOT comfortable or suitable for us. We follow everyone else's steps, we lose our own style, we lose our own comfortable way of living, we lose our own creative thinking. What are the things left? Just brains without minds, thoughts without ideas and bodies without souls. We are all manipulated, we are all modified, we are all chained to the rhythm.

Everytime i listen to this song, it reminds me of how superficial society is. Social media focuses on portraying parties and espiritually empty stuff. We try to fill the holes in our souls by purchasing more and more unnecessary items instead of seeing those in need. I am not saying we need to radically change the world. But small steps, if more people took them, would drastically reduce suffering on Earth. Think for instance about what you just had for lunch. Was there a once living being's corpse on your plate and now in your stomach? By eating animals you are causing an enormous amount of suffering. But who cares. Let's put our pink-coloured glasses on. Cause eyes that don't see, heart that doesn't feel. Go vegan to start creating a less horrible world❤

KATY PERRY IS BEING SABOTAGED BY CAPITOL RECORDS, HERE'S WHY AND HOW. (A THREAD) 1) In 2017, Katy released a political song Chained To The Rhythm, before that she was very vocal in politics, CTTR did pretty well on charts. But then she released Bon Appetit with Migos. Migos is an openly transphobic trio and Katy is LGBT+ supporter. Which means Capitol forced her 2) Bon Appetit was set to release solo but it got a feature on it on the last minute, and Katy got so much hate from it. When she was accused of being transphobic, her team did NOTHING to fix her image. 3) In 2018, Capitol's CEO confirmed that they were "disappointed" by Witness' unsuccess. And stated that they have a plan for Katy that they're excited for. But nothing happened in 2018. You can read his full conversation here 4)Katy released Harley's In Hawaii in 2019, which was a fan-favourite, was the fastest Katy Perry song ever to enter iTunes USA Top 10. But the song wasnt sent to the radios, it got sent later when the hype died down. 5)What is more strange about this is that even though HIH was so fast to enter the top 10, the song wouldnt come up when you searched it on iTunes. The song fell so quick. It lasted only 10 days on the chart even though its sudden success 6)Katy released Daisies, her lead single from her album earlier this year along with the music video. Daisies went #1 on iTunes and managed to say in the chart for over a month. But however, the song wasnt sent to the radios. 7)as you can see from the song's chart success, the song got out of the itunes chart after four weeks of release. The song was sent to the radios right after it got out of the chart, but the hype was already dead. and after 2 weeks, the song was taken back from the radios 8)Smile performance video was posted on KZbin without Katy knowing, after it got posted by her team, they deleted it. And posted it again on the right time. But the video already had over 500k views before they deleted. Also reminder that Smile was leaked 2 months before release. 9)Why would Capitol sabotage Katy, why is it good for them? Katy has a 5 album contract with capitol which ends with Smile, and Capitol doesnt want her to be a rival to them if she goes to an another company. 10)Katy is the only executive producer of Smile, which means she financed the album with her own money, because Capitol didnt financially support her 11)an average album is most likely to get 100 to 300 million playlist support from Spotify, but Smile only got 35 million. Also the whole album got leaked before its release by her own label, they sent the vinyls and cds to fans almost 2 weeks before release.
