A few years too late but Katy Perry has had trysts with metal. She was the female vocalist in the last verse of Goodbye For Now by P.O.D. I don't know the name she was using back then, but she was in gospel and Christian stuff before taking up the current name and moving into pop. She does have a good voice for symphonic metal.

Jotun Studio all I guess I could say would be to find her real twitter or facebook account that she actually uses and not a pr rep, that's how we got Vinnie paul to ok us doing a tribute cover album to dimebag , got ahold of him told him what we were doing sent him a couple rough edits of our versions and he said it was cool as long as went sent a finished copy of the cd to him , but that's Vinnie paul not katy perry like I said just get ahold of her one way or another and just say hey I made a metal version of one of your songs here is the link to check it out if you don't like it ill take it down or something like that . @lagiator Glad you liked it! The processing is easy: TSE 808 + Legion + Lecab using GuitarHack impulses. Filter some lows and some highs and record two guitars for main rythm and other two for some arrangements bits Hope it helps!

Glad you liked this cover (though it´s only available in 37 countries, due to copytight) I don´t make tutorials, sorry, but I can tell you that I play the drums using my Roland controller, edit later (quantize, adjust, etc) and used Superior Drummer´s Metal Foundry for cymbals and EZD´s Metal Machine for snare/bass drum/toms (used the first in everyone) The important thing is compressing, eqing and adding reverb and mixing all the mics. Hope it helps!

@erichzann100 La verdad es que la EMG 81 es una pasada. Ésta es la 81-7, para 7 cuerdas. Hay 2 guitarras, salvo en ciertos puntos (estribillo y puente) que meto otro par con acordes o arreglos más agudos. He escuchado la canción que me comentas y no está mal, pero no te garantizo nada, ya que me muevo mucho por instintos e impulsos. Un saludo y muchas gracias por tus palabras!
