I feel that Katy is referencing towards the idea that being "committed" to a Healthy lifestyle can sometimes be overwhelming, especially when junk foods are so present and bright-like, making them a "temptation." Close to the end, though, she is able to realize that she can sort of find a balance to each of the healthiness and the indulgence but when she wakes up, she gives us this cliffhanger that "Luckily it was just only a healthy dream...or was it?" which might be interpreted as to how we have problems that haunt us and yet we tend to push them instead of facing them. Sadly it’s over. The industry no longer plays her music or gives her coverage. She’s pretty much done. Her numbers will continue to dwindle and she will lose support from her label. She will be forced to play smaller venues, and have less money to back her albums. So sad :( Edit: to be clear I like Perry. I actually love this new album and think it’s a genuinely great pop record that should be appreciated even outside it being a Katy Perry album. But just like Lady Gaga - every new album or single has been flopping. Her numbers continue to dwindle and show a massive decline. Yet pop acts like Taylor Swift continue to bring in major views. My point is, it’s not just “people don’t care about music videos anymore or “people don’t buy music anymore”. Because again if that were true, other pop acts wouldn’t still be hitting massive numbers. There has been a clear trimming of the fat so to speak, and certain popular artist from 10 years ago - are no longer performing well in views and sales. I’m not sure if that’s just consumers have grown tired of them, or if it’s the music industry has something against them and no longer plays their work or promotes it. Maybe it’s a combination of both. All I do know is that this is some of Katy Perry’s best work to date - her music videos are absolutely insane. And yet no one seems to care. Everyone is sleeping on it. And that is just heart breaking to see.
