Two local North Shore Kaua'i, Hawaii kids take a swim in what looks like the world's most dangerous swimming pool.

You tried man, you cared. Kids are brave. Boys sense of adventure.

Just like local kids cliff diving in the canyons in my area. They seem to count on their training (from "elder" kids) and experience. It does seem like any deaths reported are visitors. I think I'm ok with that system rather than more protection for youth.

Floating with that swim ring near those rocks on aggressive waves is a no no 😅, rather go man to man with those waves 🌊

Its sad that so many visitors to Hawaii have to return to the mainland in bodybags. Drownings are a cottage industry here. Locals here at one point or the other always end up saving mainlanders lives. However, its sad to watch them drown sometimes.

I live in the mountains of NC and when I went to Hawaii I was standing there just looking at the waves and some locals about my age told me to jump in with them so I did and they were like wow we typically mess with tourists they never actually jump in they just have panic attacks when locals jump in. They said it’s aggravating how many people assume they are in danger
@birdman18432 жыл бұрын
@@futurecorpse7330 they underestimated the Carolina Highlanders , at least you got recognition afterwards . I’m from Miami , but live in Ohio , one thing I learned from the Amish community is to never judge a book 📕 by it’s cover .

I love that this video is still getting comments 12 years later. So funny.
@waynehearst3172 жыл бұрын
@@johnarrell Clearly! Especially when you say, "what's wrong with these guys? Do your parents know your here?" - don't try walking back your comments man. Seems like you took my comment as an attack on your ego...or something. It wasn't. I used to think motocross riders were mentally insane...until I went out and tried it, fell in love and now do the same shit I used to think people were "crazy" or "stupid" to do. My point is this is where bias and negativity comes from. It's basic lack of understanding, so we condemn it. People like you are why places like this get closed off, shut down. That's all I'm saying...trying to expand your level of thinking all though I know it's NEVER going to happen on the internet, right? lol. And yea, the way KZbin works is your video can and might be found as long as the platform exists. Has nothing to do with age...but relevancy to the algorithm, key word searches, etc. Wow, look at that! You learned a lot today! Yaay.
