Nārāyaṇa, as the source of all, pervades everything, including Shiva’s heart. But it’s Nārāyaṇa who is worshipped as Sarveshvara, while Shiva is revered as the foremost devata. Even Ardhanarishvara represents the balance of creation, not equality in supremacy.

Lord Vishnu came first from the impersonal Parabrahman Nārāyaṇa, who has always existed, as Viṣṇu is the sustainer of this universe and therefore appears first. Lord Shiva also emerged from Almighty Parabrahman Nārāyaṇa, and Lord Brahma from the navel of Lord Viṣṇu. After their emergence, it was Viṣṇu who explained to both Shiva and Brahma their respective roles and the purpose of their creation. Shri Hari Viṣṇu has never worshipped anyone; He only performs such acts when He takes on human avatars. Otherwise, He never worships anyone. Almighty Nārāyaṇa is the Supreme God, even above Shiva, who himself constantly worships Viṣṇu. In the scriptures of Hinduism, it is clearly stated that the greatest God or Supreme Being is only Parabrahman Nārāyaṇa, also known as Maha Viṣṇu. Mahadev is the god of all deities, but not the God of all gods. Understand the difference between a deity (dev) and the Supreme Lord (Bhagwan). Shiva is the greatest deity, known as Rudra. It is through the unity of the 11 Rudras that Sadashiva is formed. Got it?

U r wrong … if you read our texts …shiva’s part is vishnu … go and read mahabharat where ved vyas ji describes ashwathama about the core of shiv-vishnu. *It was shiv ji who gave sudarshan chakra to vishnu ji . * Ram ji took blessing from shiv ji before marching to Lanka . * Krishna ji never started his day without offering water to Shivlinga. * In mahabharat when arjun was scared seeing the opponent’s army, he asked lord krishna - are u sure madhav ?? Can I defeat them ? Lord krishna replied that you can be defeated only if Shiva joins them,but that too isnt the case , as he is on ur flag in the form of Hanuman ji . * Veerbhadra( 1 hair strand of shiv ji) managed to behead raja Daksha even after promise given by Vishnu ji that he will not be touched by anyone till he is there ( Raja Daksha was great devotee of Vishnu ji) - * See if u go as per texts and books …i dont want to differentiate between them because it took me 3 yrs of research to understand this with lotttsss of studies . Shiv and vishnu are like grandfather(shiva) and father(Vishnu)of the house. Obviously Father is running the house nd is the HOD of all but he himself is a part of his own father. Even while acting as HOD , he cant bypass rare orders passed by grandfather of the house. We humans as kid of the house ( grandfather ) always tell us to behave properly, follow their dad . Same way when you worship shiva too much , you will be unknowingly get attracted to vishnu ji ( its grandfather way of guiding the kid- Follow Dad if you want to be successful).Its a sign too that your devotion to Shiva is in right path. You cant be favourite of either one of them if u disrespect anyone of them. ( no dad likes his son to be disrespected or vice versa).

Rama worshipped King Dasharath and sought blessings from many deities like Samudra Deva, Agni Deva, and Devi Durga, not just Shiva, because He was performing His earthly role as a human prince of Ayodhya, not as Lord Vishnu. Nowhere in the Mahābhārata does it say that Krishna started His day by offering water to a Shivlinga. Nor does it say that Arjuna was ever scared of the opposing army or asked Krishna, 'Are you sure Madhav? Can I defeat them?' These are just your made-up fantasies. And nowhere in the Mahābhārata does it mention that Krishna told Arjuna, 'You can only be defeated if Shiva joins them,' let alone mention that Shiva is on Arjuna's flag as Hanuman. Hanuman is not Shiva Himself; He is just a partial incarnation of Lord Shiva. As for Veerbhadra, the truth is Lord Vishnu didn’t promise Daksha that no one could touch him still he is there. Vishnu promised to protect Daksha as long as he adhered to Dharma, but when Daksha sided with Adharma, Vishnu did not step in. That’s why Veerbhadra could behead him-because Vishnu doesn’t support Adharma. Daksha wasn’t even a devotee of Vishnu; he was a devotee of Maa Adi Shakti. Only after incurring the wrath of Adi Shakti did he seek refuge from Vishnu, but Vishnu didn’t defend him. Get your facts right, my friend.
