To celebrate NAIDOC Week, we’re proud to launch a unique Welcome to Kaurna Country film in collaboration with the City of Port Adelaide Enfield.
Kaurna Country is more than a place and is inherent to Aboriginal identity.
We want people from across our Cities to know the land on which they live, work and connect with each other is Kaurna Country.
This video shares the connection of Kaurna people to land, to water, to nature. To Country.
Together, let us ‘Heal Country’.

Welcome to Country I would like to pay my respects to elders past and present. To the Italian elders who built our roads, railways, and telecommunications infrastructure. To the Greek and Turkish elders for giving us the tasty kebab shops. To the Jewish elders who gave us the Westfield shopping centers and Meriton apartments. To the Swedish elders that set up the IKEA and H&M stores. To the Chinese elders who gave us all the $2 shops in China Towns. To the German elders that gave us ALDI and nice automobiles and terrific appliances. To the Irish elders that gave us all the great Irish pubs. To the Indian elders who gave us great Curries and Bollywood films. To the English elders who gave us Cricket and Monthy Python and so much Humour. To the American elders that gave us so much exciting entertainment and music joy. To the Elders from all over the World who have given so much to us all living in Australia
