What a wonderful Yaman by Kaushar and Swarangi. The raag development in the first bandish was beautifully restrained, quite Kishori-like. I was a bit surprised when they first took difference nyasi notes (Sa + Ga) and thought first this may have been accidental. But they repeated this several times, including also Ga + Pa. The initiative seemed to come from Kausharji and It worked very well. Overall, a lovely performance from both.

Magnificent, fabulous, splendid performance with unusual brilliance and verve. Extremely beautiful and eternally memorable. Was Hansadhwani blended with Nand that was quite obvious in the second presentation? Very adorable combination indeed.

In Nand, Swarangi was performing perfectly but Kasarji was going out of actual track. She gave effect of Hansdhwani slightly.

It is a raag called Nandadhwani...a raag created by Vidushi Dr. Ashwini Bhide Deshpande ji...their Guru This raag is a combination of raagas Nand and Hamsadhwani...hence the flavor of both the raagas are present
