Too ordinary. Not an iota of gravitas which a raag ljke Bhoopali demands. She should stick to Bhimpalasi, yaman, etc which suits her trickery and gimmicks and gallery shows

Chalo thikhein , you didnt find gravitas in this performance but what do you really mean by her trickery and gimmick is suited for yaman and bhimpalasi. So , you think yaman and bhimpalasi are lowly ragas which cannot be sung with gravitas or if a rags does not sound sombre or serious , its not great enough ... Is there one singular way of singing a raga? That bhoopali needs to have gravitas , any other way ,its just ordinary and unacceptable. And what's trickery n gimmicky n show off exactly? Boltaans , gamaks , sargam taans , firaat ke taane , behelwas etc have been part khayal gayaki since forever. It's not like she invented them to trick audience and is not it a creative field , where a person is allowed to express how they want , if someone has technical virtousity , they have full artistic freedom to use it accordingly , why to look down upon it ? Its not like every tom dick harry can sing like this or you can!! .. your statement raises a lot questions surely n what a great connoisseur you are sir of this artform! Can surely understand 😊

Heard first 10 minutes and not impressed. Lacks gravitas, the comparison is of course with the Bhoop of Kishori ji, Kumarji, Vasantrao, Bade Gulam Ali Khan saheb and the Gwalior stalwarts including Malini Rajurkar. Maybe an off day.
