इसे पहली बार पं.कुमार गंधर्व जीने गाया था । यही उस समयके शास्त्रीय संगीत गायक पं.डाॅ. वसंतराव देशपांडे जी ने इस खूबसूरतीसे गाया था की ,पं.कुमार गंधर्वजी ने उनकी प्रशंसा कर उन्हे ही गायनके लिये आमंत्रित किया था । ऐसा मैने समाचारपत्रोमे से पढा है । मराठी पिक्चर ' भाई - व्यक्ती की वल्ली ' मे इसी गानेके लिये मुकुल शिवपुत्र जीने आवाज दी थी ।
