Antti Paalasen luotsaamassa hanuriparaatissa marssitaan polokan tahdissa lakeuksilta maailman laidalle. Paalasen kanssa areenalla musisoivat pelimannit Etelä-Pohjanmaan ja Ranskan länsirannikon Bretagnen alueilta, joita molempia yhdistää vahva ja elävä kaksirivisen haitarin soiton perinne. Tässä ainutkertaisessa konsertissa sulassa sovussa soivat jenkat ja gavotit useamman kymmenen haitaristin voimin. Tule kokemaan kuinka kulttuuriperintömme eteläpohjalainen kaksirivisen haitarin soitto taipuu bretonin kielelle. Konsertti on osa festivaalin kylässä -teemaa.
Acc United
Antti Paalanen is directing the accordion parade that marches to the rhythm of a polka from the plains to the edge of the world. Paalanen will be joined in the main arena by musicians from the regions of South Ostrobothnia and Brittany on the west coast of France, both of which share a strong and vibrant tradition of two-row accordion playing. In this unique concert, the traditional tunes are played in harmony with more than a dozen accordionists. Come and experience how the two-row accordion of the Finnish cultural heritage translates into the Breton language. The concert is part of the festival's Visiting the Village theme.
