Kauto Star feature

Simon Holt interviewed Paul Nicholls about the career of Kauto Star. Channel 4 racing broadcasted it in three-part sections over the first three days of the Festival meeting. This upload consoliates all of them. It was probably understood at the time that Kauto was approaching the end of his career. So this was a nice reflection on seven years' worth of Kauto awesomeness.

Brilliant piece, i remember watching it at the time. I was always a denman fan he was my favourite so during the denman&kauto era i used to look at kauto as a rival to my favourite denman. Its not until they retire and you sit back and look at what they done on a racecourse can you really truly admire it. Some of kauto stars wins were amazing his record speaks for itself. Rip Kauto & Denman too 💖

Its funny how the way the 2011 race finished was the kind of finish we were willing for back in 2008. The only problem was, in 2011, that Long Run had spoilt the party.
