Fun fact: Internally back in the early 1990s (1993 and 1994) The Glassmen used this as a warmup piece that we played at some of the camps. It was really fun to play. I always imagined that the Glassmen would use it in a show someday.

You did great job with this very difficult Bulgarian composition. Very uplifting. By the way the title is spelled Kaval with a V. This is the Bulgarian word for Flute.

The time signatures alone make this song really complex. This arrangement is mindblowing and whoever penned it deserves an insane amount of praise. And for what it’s worth the bass drums are tuned absolutely perfectly.

Its kinda odd as the point is to sing the song and thats how you get the melody too, never they would use instruments. Good challenge.

Yes, it is awesome. Just replace the D with a T. We write and pronounce it Strahotno.

This is the closest I'll ever hear to the version with japanese drums orchestra that i wish existed.
