The bespectacled guy who played the character "Arun" was removed from the original cast after a few episodes, Suresh Rai of Kanyadaana fame replaced him. In the storyline The mother-in-law and her trusted lieutenant the wicked Granny would create rifts between the sisters for all trivial reasons. The duo of Kavya and Anjali who were as close as hands and feet before their marriage turn into worst enemies. However, Anjali's love for sister never truly fades, but Kavya backstabs Anjali by siding with her mother-in-law and the wicked Granny. Anjali's mother-in-law constantly throws taunts at her for not bearing a Child and warns of getting Varun married to another Girl. Unfortunately at this juncture, Anjali experiences the worst nightmare of her life, when her husband Varun gets attacked on head by her ex lover's henchmen. After this deadly incident everyone in the household presumes that Varun is dead. But Varun in reality, survives the attack, loses his memory and becomes mentally challenged which eventually lands him in a mental hospital. However, for Anjali she is cursed, humiliated and blamed for the supposed death of Varun. At this point the serial heads for a brief leap, the situation in Anjali's husband home becomes quite normalised, with presumably died Varun hangs merely as a photo frame on the wall, Anjali decides to get rid of her old self by involving herself with a some work in the company of a man named David. David becomes overwhelmed by Anjali's company and decides to marry Anjali. Initially reluctant Anjali decides to wed David after some persuasion by her family members. David's dreams of marrying Anjali are shattered forever after Varun's swings into action like a Superman( thanks to the electric shocks which he contracts from an electric pole, while unsuccessfully attempting to climb down). Later Varun gets hitched to Mary, The family in unison celebrate the arrival of Anjali and Mary's children. And the serial ends leaving the wicked Granny in bed with some incurable disease. I wrote this because I still have this serial in my memory. I still I remember the plots of Mukta, Manavanthara, Manthana, Mahaprava andJagala Gantiyaru as I had no other business than watching TV as a kid!

Do you remember serial called *Durga* which was directed by S Narayan..

@@mukeshkumar-ho7ii During the early (2000-2004)2000s I remember there were a string of serials(Ambika, Parvathi, Durga, Chandrika etc) directed by S Narayan before making a second grand- comeback with Ganesh Starrer Cheluvina Chittra. Although I can barely remember the plots of those , but I can certainly remember the serial titles. Amongst the whole bunch of serials Durga is one of the them. I am really sorry that I am unaware about cast and plot. I have watched a quite few like Kanyadaana, All Phani Ramachandra 's hit serials from the start to till the very episodes. Most of the serials directed in those years are nowhere to be found on the Internet, then how did you manage to archive it when tech were really expensive back then? By looking at the clips you have on your channel you must be a hardcore enthusiast about Kannada daily soaps. Did you contact Udaya TV to re-telecast them?

@@mysticalsage864 Kavyanjali and kavaludaari serials were retelecasted in recent times and got stopped abruptly, I recorded it when they reaired.. Many old kannada serials are not present anywhere in internet and I am looking for serial called Durga which is nowhere available.. Because you remember still kavyanjali plot,I thought you might be knowing Durga serial plot as well..

@@mukeshkumar-ho7ii You're doing a commendable job by uploading older serials. Because most of them would remain dormant as a folder or file in somebody's computer and they won't see the light of the day. So I would suggest u to start calling Udaya TV or any associated stakeholder.
