Most definitely. Nearly every video on this comp has the person testing it either playing music or slowing the video down and warping the sound. Both things make the comparisons worthless.

We did not test the noise level. This device is not meant to change the noise level of the gun at all, but simply to deflect the gasses away from the shooter as opposed to the sides.

I wanted to see this work, but judging by the comparative muzzle displacement, it seems to make no difference in rise. Approx 1 "square" (inch?) for both.

Didn't really tell us anything that we wouldn't already know when looking into linear comps. I would have liked to have seen a sound test from the shooter's ear as well as 6 feet to the side of the shooter and maybe a flash comparison.

If you use a sound meter you will see it does not redirect the sound to any degree that is noticeable.

Designed to throw the sound forward. Should have done a sound test behind the shooter, beside the shooter and then in front of the shooter (with camera on a stand of course)

Thanks bro, whenever I go to the range, it's 10 lanes with a wood awning above and an AR 15 carbine with the a2 flash hider is loud as crap with the overhang. It blasts everyone and seems worse than guys shooting their deer rifles. I'm checking out the Kaw Valley and Levang and am trying to see which one works better for keeping the sound downrange.

Last time I took my vz58 to the range the people on either side of me complained quite a bit about muzzle blast so I would have to lean way out and that's difficult when you've only got a 16 inch barrel to get out away from everyone else, basically I got to where when I would shoot the guys would step back out of the way I would shoot and when I was done they would step back into their firing area it was a lot of fun. I recently bought a farm in Middle Kentucky and built a range behind my house so I no longer have to worry about that

Maybe It's just me cuz I've always deer and Elk hunted with 270s 30-06s 300 Winchester Magnums but to me a 223 has no recoil or very very little felt recoil and very little muzzle rise
