aymkarma Hello :) thank you so much! Glad you like this video and the bento. The iron to make the mark is branding iron which I custom made in Japan.They are usually used in traditional sweets but I like using them on other ingredients to create cute markings. They are heated over stove and 'press' over the ingredient to cause a burn , ie the mark/design.

It's branding iron. Usually used on traditional Japanese sweets but now it's also used in bread and more modern dishes and even in this case for tamagoyaki

:) usually for bento that I am bringing out, i will not pack them so high, basically means that the arrangement should be such that they can be closed. or get a deeper box, or a box with a pop up lid :) those are really good for character bentos.
