I learned if the skin is made out of 3M vinyl it is ok and safe.

This is my first time using skins on my Switch so I'm not sure. I heard many people say they don't damage the Joy-cons but I don't like the gray Joy-cons so even if the paint comes off I will just use a new skin. Plus, you can always buy new Joy-cons. ♥

@@Mooeyandfriends they aren’t painted. The plastic itself is that color. If anything the skin would tear and possibly leave residue.

I already have the animal crossing console which I love. But I’ve been looking for a second pair of controllers. I think I want a pastel pink and purple to match my blue and green controllers! I am a bit nervous about applying the covers. Was it difficult to cover?

So jealous of the ACNH switch! It looks gorgeous! Applying the skins isn't too difficult. You can remove the skin if you don't line it up well. Just be careful and go slowly. You can smooth out any air bubbles with your finger. ♥

They weren't too bad to apply! But if you make a mistake be careful when peeling off the skin because they could rip. The part I had the most difficult time was when I was applying the top back part of the Joy-cons where the L/R buttons so be careful around that part. Also, I wouldn't recommend those clear cases if you plan on removing the Joy-cons often because the crystal case is hard to remove. ♥

After watching this I decided to by the bestfire crystal clear case you linked from amazon and I wanted to know how was your experience? at first my tracking on amazon didn’t update for weeks then when I contacted the seller they claimed it was delivered and showed me a screenshot that didn’t have my correct phone number on it. after I pointed out the phone number was nowhere near the number on my account they randomly agreed to send me another package. did you go through this too? or was your experience better?

WhatYouThought I’m literally going through an issue with this seller too!! 😥 I ordered the clear case about 3 weeks ago and I’ve just checked my amazon tracking too see where it is and apparently I haven’t purchased any product at all? It’s completely gone and all I have as proof that I’ve bought it is a screenshot of the money that’s been taken out of my bank and paid to amazon. I’m so sad and annoyed 😞 I also tried to click on the link in the description again and it brings up a different item now?? 😥

NellWolfie I’m sorry you’re going through this. amazon makes it nearly impossible to contact them. At least I was able to get in contact with the seller because amazon still had my tracking attached despite it not updating. maybe you can contact your bank and dispute the purchase since you never received the item and amazon erased it from your history.

They sell the skin for the border around the Switch separately or in a set with skins for the entire Switch console. I only bought the joy-cons at the time but I might go back and buy the rest of the set because I love how well the purple, pink, and white look together. ♥
