You're using the wrong kind of keycap, your keycaps are probably ABS plastic and not PBT.

Thank you so much! For this video I just used oven bake polymer clay (the brand i have is called sculpey) and some tools: various sized dotting tools, a ruler/ flat edge and a double sided cuticle pusher (i’m not sure what the side I use is called, i just referred to it as a spatula in my video. It works really well to smooth down the edges! Just have to clean it before I use it on my nails again 😅) But in order to turn it into a key cap, I’ll also need some casting silicone and resin! Hope that helps! Also, welcome to my youtube fellow redditor 😊
