How lucky for the person who bought the Pokemon lottery tickets. And I think what you ask is very fair Nancy. I couldn't believe it when you showed just how much parking is in some places for 2 hours or just under. Plus the tolls, and the distance you travel to go to the different places. Thank you for all you do, I think its very sweet of you considering you aren't an official personal shopper and you do this as time allows because you want to.

I always looked at 2900 yen being $29 in the US because it really is easier to think of it that way. Plus what ever is left over the person shopping for you can keep to help with traveling to the locations and everything. I think it's a win win for both as Japan has such kawaii items especially for the kujis and we don't have it here. So keep up the great work I love your videos and your family is so kawaii!!.

I get item's from Tokyo and I don't pay customs tax only if I pay from the U.S. which I don't, been there done that never do it again. But I understand don't worry. 😀😍💖💖💖

Exactly what I came here to comment. I was thinking, “Are there people that actually complain about not paying a true conversion for products?” 🙄 I figure that any amount you round up for products is to pay for your time, effort, tolls, inconvenience, etc. You are so awesome for doing this! I feel like I’d go broke on kujis 😂 I’m not lucky with them, last time we were there my husband won a lot of the grand prizes. Then we met up with his friend who was also visiting Japan and after his friend hugged him, husband lost his luck 😡 Hopefully our luck returns next time!

Yes, you are taking time to drive there, park and so forth so all those money are well worth it. It’s okay to spend extra if someone wants certain items. I have girls do it for me too and they always charge extra for it. I don’t mind paying.

There is often a small fee from the bank to convert a currency to another currency as well. All the time and effort you put into getting things for people is so amazing. if i need to do a currency conversion, I use the exchange calculator on my bank’s website because they are more accurate, plus if i am paying online my bank charges like 3 more cents than the conversion rate that comes up on google

I receive a prize box from Nancy and I had to pay £50 (UK) just to get it out of the postal office. So I ended up "buying" a box from them. It depends how desperate you want something sent over if you're will long to pay .x

For people who aren't familiar with foreign currency, Yen rates fluctuate from day to day & depending on where you convert your money. I lived in Okinawa for 3 years - the 100¥ to $1 is the easiest way to figure & it's courtesy especially when asking someone to do pick ups for you.
