I didn’t grow up with dragon ball. I missed the chance to see Goku go Super Saiyan for the first time when it aired. But I am extremely grateful that I got to experience reading the manga when Luffy achieved Gear 5 and then the hype building up to see it animated. Thank you Oda and Toei.

@@azir8910 Actually, no: He eventually revealed that he was just a hypocrite about it. Leaving aside the time against Oden, because he had realized too late that Higurashi had distracted him with his transformation... but against Luffy he had noticed and realized the CP0 member's intervention several moments before hitting him (even if it can see better in the manga, than in the anime), so much so that he even had a quick flashback of his battle against Oden....and consequently he COULD have stopped his attack before it hit, got rid of the CP0 member and then resumed the clash with Luffy in a truly honorable way....but instead he chose to carry out his attack, taking advantage of it accordingly, and ONLY afterwards, getting pissed off at the CP0 member and killing him. This is not honor....it's pragmatism. Two completely different things. The one who demonstrated TRUE honor in a past battle with Luffy, was Charlotte Katakuri, who after realizing that he had been secretly helped by his sister Flampe and had hurt Luffy thanks to her distractions, inflicted himself a wound equivalent to that of Luffy and became furious with Flampe, to the point of revealing his true appearance to her (losing as a result, the respect and admiration she had for him) and then knocking her and her followers down with a burst of Haoshaku, so that they could no longer interfere. That was the event that made him, one of my favorite characters in the entire series.

Kaido fought G5 on this level while holding up an island and being partially exhausted from clashes prior to this. This guy, sets a benchmark for how strong the old gen was. Kaido also fought with honour. The fact that Big Mom was on this level as well if she fought serious and WB and shanks were stronger, the old gen does show us why the Gorosei never fought face on during their reign.

funny thing is, gear 5 turned into regular luffy at one point because he had a short life time by using gear 2 ( a lot of blood pressure removes lifespan ) and from marine forced when the guy changed his horomones ( horomones can remove lifespan up to 10 years )

What a great and powerful villain Kaido was 🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️ It took a lot to defeat him which make sense considering he is the strongest Yonko in all areas and it was awesome. I think his gear 5 was in the early stages and is still developing a lot. Kaido lived up to his name King of beast.
