I know for a FACT kawaki transforming his arm has NOTHING to do with the karma seal, and go back and re watch ep 189 katasuke confirmed it has NOTHING to do with the karma seal. And both of their bodies are NOT scientific ninja tools. Kawaki transforming his arm was scientific ninja tools. Boruto has no scientific ninja tools I repeat. Boruto has NO scientific ninja tools AT ALL. Their body isn’t turning into an otsutsuki bc of scientific ninja tools. It’s bc of the karma. (Light spoiler alert, but if you wanna know y ur wrong keep reading) it’s bc Amado explained what the karma is in the manga and it’s an otsutsuki back up file and it gives the vessel (boruto and kawaki) that otsutsuki’s dna, THAT is y they are turning into otsutsuki. NOT bc of scientific ninja tools. When the karma extraction is complete (theirs is at 80% btw) they will cease to exist and momoshiki will emerge from boruto’s body and it will be momoshiki head on borutos body, same for kawaki

You were right on one thing tho, the karma did amp his arm transformation but that’s bc karma physically gives the user a power boost my guy. You’ll fully understand when the anime animates the boro and so and so fight, and the jigen vs so and so. And when the anime catches up to about chapter 50 something. I agree, boruto is gonna need his jougan in order to dodge kawaki limb attack since its a artificial karma seal unlike momoshiki who gave the power of it as a parting gift of his to boruto but by judging the first scene about konoha destroyed in boruto episode 1 I think kawaki is gonna slash it anyways tho it damaged his eye part physically.... it didn't destroy jougan unlike sharingan and rinnegan which can be destroyed if the user gives a chance to do it. For example; boruto is gonna damage sasuke rinnegan eye with momoshiki in control of his body. Wait! lightning attacks avoided momoshiki dragon attack when he escaped through sasuke rinnegan ability... so since lightning chairs, water, and wind style is otsutsuki main weaknesses now I understand how boruto is gonna defeat kawaki. Lightning style has the power to damage through hard rock meaning boruto can use this chakra lightning style type to break kawaki right hand artificial limb technique which the artificial limb comes out while he uses the other hand which has the artificial karma seal to absorb and do destructive rasengan like wide spread damage to kawaki. Boruto have to understand his eye abilities more to go against more stronger opponents....
