I’m 67 and I paid $76 per year for minimal coverage on a ‘99 Vic V92C!!! I’m not riding like most 27 year olds though 😁. Never crashed a bike and only a couple auto crashes, the worst of which was a rear ender that nearly ended me.

Thanks for that comparison. Been looking at the Zh2 I had a ninja 300 traded that in for a Z650. I was missing the tuning and linearity of the ninja, how it sounded much better when downshifting. I was thinking about an SX but the way you explained it I think I'll go for the ninja H2 not the SX. The Z is a good commuter and is plenty fast for my level of experience, but I'd like the H2 opening it up on straightaways when no one else is around. Good video.

Thanks for the video. To correct you, apart from sharing the same capacity and having a supercharger, the engines are totally different There is only 1 common component - the crankcase!. The frames look similar but the tubing on the SX is much heavier. These really are completely different bikes that just look similar. However, both are simply brilliant at what they do.

GEICO has an affiliation with the Kawasaki Riders Association. My ZX insurance rate is < $40/mo. Quote for the H2 SX SE is < $50/mo. All others are massively more expensive.

I went in to my dealer looking to buy the h2sx but found the zh2 much more comfortable. Zh2 is a missle. Insurance for me is $735/year.

I got a tough choice... i like the esthetics of the H2 but i ride alot so i know i'm gonna love the gadgets on the H2 SX. Why oh why couldnt they have made the rear on the H2 SX looking as sexy as the H2....😅

the sad thing is Kawasawki does not have self cancelling signal lights in 2020. I just bought a 2020 SX SE and love it, a great bike, just getting through break in period but it is great so far

Woah! I insure an H2SX SE+ and Z900 for $100 a month..$1200 a year. Your paying $750/month!? Yikes. Check out State Farm….they rate bikes on a CC basis. So you can insure a 1000cc H2 cheaper than a monster slow ass 1800 cc Harley. Just a thought, those are insane insurance prices!!!

The sx has a different frame, more heavy duty for passenger n cases. It may just be the subframe. Not sure. The engine ecu can be unlocked etc for full power. Change the exhaust n tune it etc.

Hearing talk about full replacement insurance as a “perk” makes me laugh. Either you don’t understand the definition of the word “perk” (which implies freebie bonus) or you simply chose the wrong word. If you go to a restaurant and get a fabulously expensive meal that YOU paid for, you’re not getting a “perk”, you are getting what you ordered and paid for. Same with insurance. To really understand the value of full replacement insurance coverage, you have to compare prices with and without that option. Only then will you understand what you are paying. You sound like you are very successful, own your home, nice toys and etc. Full coverage, low deductible, full replacement value insurance is very expensive, especially for a 27y/o. The better way to spend your money is on medical coverages. At your income level, the bike is easily replaced, your body (or passenger’s body) not so much. Your first day in the hospital after a bad crash will likely cost more than your bike. It’s better to keep updating your bike insurance as it ages and pay much lower premiums for a policy with higher deductibles.

I have insurance on 4 bike. 2019 H2 SX SE+, 2015 Kawasaki Concours 1400, 2007 Yamaha V Star, and a 1980 Honda CBX value at $15k. I'm 41 years old, I have max limits on progressives best policy, roadside assistance and most all options. I pay $860 per year. The rates you state in the video are so horrendous I would think you have either horrible accident history/ habitual traffic offender or your agent hates you and is purposely hosing you. You need to shop that insurance rate buddy!
