you sure know your things with the kle! but i've noticed something: you don't have a vacuum switch valve and the cover of the cylinder's head is obturated on both sides. how come you ditched it and how does it affect the running of the engine? i'm saying this because at some point i have trouble with mine, and the bike doesn't speed higher than 70 km/h being forced to clean up those lamellas from the cover to regain the initial performaces. thanks.

If I’m not mistaken, you mean this valve 161261014. Most European motorcycles didn’t come with it. If I had it on mine I’ve would take it off, because it doesn’t improve the period the bike.

Hi! Good job done. I saw you have another motorcycle. How is Kawasaki compared to Suzuki dr 650 rse? By suspension, dynamics, ease of landing?

Hi, thanks Well, the bikes to a non-Moto person would seem the same, but in my experience the Suzuki is more focus off road and the Kawasaki more on the road. The best part of the Suzuki is that it has more torque at low rpms, only one carb to maintain, less weight, higher ground clearance. If I have to do more off road driving then the Suzuki is the obvious choice. The best parts of the Kawasaki is that it has less vibration, the engine sound is better, especially when reving it to high rpms, the suspension feels better since it has KYBs from the factory, easier to start since you have two cylinders and it’s more comfortable if you plan to ride long distances on the pavement. So it definitely depends on the situation which bike is better, the Suzuki would do better if you had to drive thru a off road track with jumps and ditches do to the higher ground clearance and lower weight, but the Kawsaki would overtake it on the road due to the fact that it has a higher top speed, the power at higher rpms would definitely be better on longer trips.

@@restorationvalve Thanks for the reply. I also have a Suzuki DR650RSE, the mileage is already 67 thousand kilometers, I try to keep it in excellent condition. I agree about off-road driving. But even at a speed of 110-120, I have 4500-4800 crankshaft revolutions. There is enough reserve for overtaking.
