I’m not an expert on 2 strokes either but I think when oil is collecting in the exhaust it’s either you are mixing to strong or the bike is running extremely rich. But wait on someone who knows more bc I only have 1 2 stroke and haven’t had it long. Trying to learn abt them

Thanks for the input! I think the jetting is off a little in the carb. They still had the stock jets in there with that FMF Fatty Pipe expansion chamber and FMF Turbinecore 2 silencer ...

@@11GalleryATV what fuel ratio are you running? Also when was the last time that silencer was repacked?

@@lilchungus5109 I haven't had it very long so I don't know when the last time the silencer was repacked but judging by the shock and front forks seals leaking, my guess would be never. The guy before me said they were running 32:1 and I am also running that (with Lucas semi-synthetic 2 stroke oil).

@@11GalleryATV if that packing is really built up with oil that could contribute to the extra oil but so could the fuel ratio, I have a 2012 kx 85 which I run 40:1 in and I’ve had no problems with it in the past 4 years I’ve owned it. With that said I’m not an expert so take it with a grain of salt

6:35 is the oil supposed to be at the top of the window? I have a 06 and its 2/3 way to the top.. not sure if it needs more

You should always measure it to be sure where it lines up. On mine it is always 1/2 way in the sight glass window after I do an oil change and put in the proper amount of oil. Also make sure the bike is completely level when looking.

I bought a huge assorted parts lot from someone on eBay ... it had nuts, bolts, washers, grommets, brackets, and just a shit ton of assorted parts ... I always look for these (for machines that I own) because sometimes you can get a lot of stuff for cheap ...

Ik its late but what mixture are you running in your bike? I run 32:1 in my 05 100 and when you run an oil heavy mix it creates a lot of excess oil and gas out the exhaust, nothing to worry about
