The QS is a bit notchy because it’s not designed for use below 4000 rpm .. or slow riding ..!!! It’s designed for sports high speed acceleration and deceleration .. primarily on the track ... if we don’t use something correctly.. we can’t then criticise the tool if it doesn’t work correctly..!! If it’s used properly then the QS is fantastic!!! Works really well !!!.. on this particular bike it’s not a lazy substitute for changing gear ..!!! I’ve learned that over the last few months of owning it !!! Thank you for your review..!!! Very good !!!... but then again the bike is very good !!😁😁😁👍👌👌👌

Nice review. I’m considering replacing my ‘17 Zed900 here in the U.S. with this Ninja 1000SX. I’m 5’6” and 30 inch inseam, 168lbs. I’ve read that Kawasaki offers a reduced height seat for shorter riders versus lowering the bike, but I’ll probably try the standard seat first...I’ve owned taller bikes in the past with no issues. Sub’d to the channel...cheers!

Jeg gikk fra en 17, Z900 til en 20 BMW R1250R. For en forskjell, vil anbefale alle å teste en boxermotor. Er selv bare 168cm, men med lav sal (760 mm ), så er R1250R perfekt til meg. Hadde en Z650 før Z900, men nå er jeg helt frelst, på R1250R Tenkte på Z H2, men den ble for høy for meg.

Wow great review i like the way you test the bike by paddling it in a carpark and walking the bike into a space the devil is in the detail so they say it helps by knowing what it would be like to live with the bike on a daily basis being a shorter rider. Regards to your question about chain lubing it is down to weather conditions and milage or if you would use a chain oiler device but as a rule of thumb i tend oil and clean mine ever two weeks during summer months .I agree if money was no object the gs low would be my choice the z1000sx sounds very similar too my modified 2015 gsxr1000 with a standard seat height of 810mm thanks for the review

I test rode this bike the other day and I managed to ride 13 miles an hour in six gear and it just started to show signs. The quick shifter going down is a bit clunky. But overall love the bike I have placed an order for the 2022 model

Congratulations, I hope you have lots of fun and safe riding. I am hoping to test ride the new GSX 1000GT when it’s available purely because the seat height is lower 😁

The mistake most people seem to make changing down with the QS is not closing the throttle all the way (past the resting position" I find it super smooth then.

I had as well compared the Ninja1000SX with the R1250RS. You can see my decision in my avatar:-). I guess, the windscreen was in highest (4th) position during your ride. This is not the best solution, because it gives some turbulence to chest and helmet. For me, the second position is the best with the optional touring screen, that I have ( I am 1,78m / 5ft 9) - for me absolutely suitable for longer distances at 140km/h (86 miles/h) in Germany. The touring screen is much better the the small (standard) one, but honestly as well not as much than on a GS. You are impressed about the acceleration in 6th gear on the highway? Check the same with 4th or 3rd gear and you will be much more impressed:-). I do chain lubing about all 300km, after rainy ride or after cleaning. I think about to buy a CLS EVO Plus System. This is a combined temp dynamic chain lube and temp dynamic heat grip combined system. I had a very good experience with that system on a previous bike.
@InfusedBiker4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video and sharing the info. Ninja is a great bike no doubt about it especially when considering the price. The Evo plus chain lubing and heated grip system sounds great too. I am glad you are impressed with this machine.

Very nice review as it was quite helpful in evaluating this bike... just curious about the "vibration" on the handlebar which you mentioned in more than 2 occasions... is it comparable to the vibes of a vtwin? thanks
@InfusedBiker3 жыл бұрын
Thank you and I am glad you found it useful. No, the vibrations are actually not that bad. And I am sure with some bar ends fitted it will reduce the vibrations further.

Hello. I'm 5'7´´. Do you think the seat height will be ok for me?
@InfusedBiker4 жыл бұрын
It depends on your inside leg measurements. But it would be better if you can find your local dealer and sit on one and see how you feel. And also there are aftermarket options to lower the suspension by upto an inch.

You should measure your inside leg from the crotch to the heel then you will get an idea. I have 30” and my boots add another inch and the bike is still a bit too high for me.
@RevsIT2 жыл бұрын
You can easily have fitted the lower seat and lower shackle at fairly low cost (the front suspension needs a little adjustment with the shackle)
